12:00 - 2:00 pm and again at 2:00 - 4:00 pm - Old Town Film Festival - The Black Lodge will screen some of their own best works as well as a few from other great Northern filmmakers. The now infamous "Ciest to Lie" video was actually shot in The Hudson's Bay Company Building, and the line-up of films will leave you with the distinct impression that life in the North is simply a rad adventure.

12:00 - 4:00 pm - Frozen Eyes Photographic Society exhibition - Features the photographic work of members, mentors and students around the NWT.

Nadji Architects

1:00 - 3:00 pm - Watercolour painting workshop ($60, materials provided, weather permitting) - Architect and artist Kayhan Nadji will lead this workshop behind his new office on the waterfront across from Weaver and Devore. Participants will paint the view of houseboat bay from behind the building. There are a maximum of eight spots in this workshop. Please call 766-3333 to register.

All day - Float planes - get a dockside look at these always fascinating flying machines.

Starting at noon - Fish and Chips - The familiar white truck will wind its way from downtown to Old Town to take part in the festival.
